Early 20th-century Grape Basket

Included in John's carefully curated collection of vintage & antique goods is this antique grape harvesting hod basket. Historically used for gathering grapes and carrying wood, harvesting hods have a wide opening with a narrow base for easy carrying and were constructed from woven wicker or bamboo with two fabric straps.
